Journey to Success

I decided to post about a goal I am currently pursing. Besides being a Mom, this is one will be another huge accomplishment for me. Throughout my life, I have to say I have taken many challenges. Some good..some not so good. In the end, a lesson was always learned and I never gave up on Me. So today I took an exam that is one of 4 parts in completing to become a Certified Public Accountant. Yes, I was a bit nervous. I have been studying non stop for the past few weeks. I felt good but praying and praying I passed and I could continue to the next part. I have to say, I didn't realize until about a year ago the difficulty in obtaining this license. It really take dedication and a sacrifice of time and effort to do it.

My main purpose in doing this is truly to prove to myself that I can be a CPA. I can have the speciality in something that I like and it would make me more reputable in the business arena. My daughter is my source of motivation and I owe it to her to provide her a lifestyle I had and much more. My parents worked extremely hard in raising me and provided me a great life. She deserves the same. I want to share this story and journey to her one day about pursing a goal, living out your dreams and never giving up on what you want. I made this choice and I am going to do my best in succeeding on becoming a CPA.

#ADJ-CPA... I can't wait.

PrettyMomRocks- MOM..Its Time to get FIT and Stay FIT!

24 hours a day...a duty of a mom never stops. You are constantly reminded of your responsible duties as a parent. The other day, I had to make an imperative decision. This decision not only affect myself but the well being of my child. Before I was pregnant, I constantly worked out. I stayed in the gym at least three to four times a week. I was active and healthy. I started fasting, I consume water constantly and became health conscious as well.  I contribute my healthy habits prior to  my pregnancy, that allowed me to have a healthy pregnancy with my daughter. I did not have morning sickness, my weight gain was normal, and  no complications. I was fortunate. Now fast forward 4 years later, I have gotten off track. What happen? I became lazy and made excuses. Even though I can still fit in my clothes, but I started to notice a change in my shape.(NOT GOOD).  I do not have "baby fat" from the pregnancy. This weight gain and lack of muscle tone is from eating too much of the wrong things. I love good food. But I need to love more healthy things and have enough exercise in place to enjoy my favorite foods.

So I made a commitment to myself and Autumn, that mommy is getting FIT again. It's not about going on a diet but a lifestyle change. No more buffalo wings. (for a while :0) Once you go over thirty, your body does feel different. I miss the feeling of being in my twenties. So I'm working hard and staying on a routine to eat healthier and exercise more.#FlirtyThirties #Summertime Fine #Prettymomrocks #FITmom

Just do it.
